DO WE NEED TO BE MEMBERS TO ATTEND?
Yes, you always have to send an application with a photo to our member director. She need to approve all new members.
AGE LIMIT?
The Secret Society tries to keep an age limit of 25-50 years at the time of application, exceptions may however occur. Statistics from the registrations in the last three years are the average age for men 41.6 and women 36.7.
CAN YOU BRING YOUR OWN DRINK?
The answer is always no. There are bars on site wherever we are. We respect organizers and each venue's serving permit. We always offer a welcome drink to all guests and have a varied selection in the bar. As for the amount, we consider a reasonable amount to be a small amount. Failing to do this, the bar staff will limit the possibilities for what people they feel have had enough.
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
We always issue a dress code in our invitations. Then it's up to you how much or how little you want to wear, the important thing is that you feel comfortable in it and that we see that you made an effort. If the dress code is not followed, you will not be admitted to our event.
CAN I BOOK AS SINGLE?
For single girls, the same arrangement applies as for couples. You send an application and if you are approved, you can become a member. As a single guy, we have a different arrangement where he must first be recommended by a couple who are members, then he undergoes an interview with the host couple.
The couple who recommends a single guy is also responsible for him during the evening as they are his guarantor. If he misbehaves, the couple risks their membership with us and may be ported.
CAN YOU BRING YOUR PHONE?
The answer is no, we don't want to risk them spreading any pictures from our parties that we didn't approve. This is because we care about the anonymity of our participants and it is only you as a participant who can claim that you are a participant at our parties. No other!
WE DID NOT RECEIVE A KEY, WHY?
We only hand out keys a few times a year to those we think enhance a room with their presence. Very rarely does it happen that someone gets a key on their first visit to us, this means that you can get a key in the longer term. If you get a key, it means that you get a premium membership of the host couple which gives extra benefits.
PHOTOGRAPHER?
By attending one of our events, you agree that you may be photographed. We usually take a few pictures during each event. We use the images for marketing. We anonymize these photos and remove birthmarks, tattoos, jewelry or other attributes/things that could identify you, please check our gallery for examples of what it looks like. From the photos we take, we only select a handful which we then save to our image bank for future invitations, social media or similar marketing.
If you feel insecure, it's ok to notify our photographer on site and then he will avoid taking pictures of you.
