Membership in Det Hemliga Sällskapet 2026
By applying for and accepting membership in Det Hemliga Sällskapet (DHS), you agree to follow our rules and terms. Membership is designed to create a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants.
1. Membership, Membership Levels, and Validity
1.1 There are two membership options available for the calendar year 2026:
Ambassadeur: Access to three signature events during the year.
Chevalier: Premium membership with benefits such as discounted tickets, priority access to fully booked events, the ability to invite a guest couple (see Section 5), refreshments at events, and honorary membership in Club Lumas.
1.2 Membership is personal and valid from the time of payment until December 31, 2026.
1.3 Membership in DHS is available to individuals who:
1.3.1 Have no outstanding debts related to previous memberships in DHS.
1.3.2 Have not been previously banned from one or more DHS events.
1.3.3 Have not acted inappropriately in connection with previous participation in DHS events.
1.3.4 Submit a full-body photo of both individuals with visible faces (e.g., no sunglasses or obscured features) when applying for membership.
1.4 Membership is personal and cannot be transferred or used by anyone other than the Member.
1.5 Membership also grants Members the right to register for events hosted by our sister club, Lumas. DHS Members only pay for tickets and are not required to pay an annual fee for Lumas.
1.6 Membership upgrades: Members can upgrade their membership at any time to gain access to more events. Upgrades take effect immediately. For Members with cash memberships, the price difference between the existing and new membership level must be paid for the remaining period before the upgrade is activated.
1.7 DHS cannot always guarantee availability for certain events or memberships where the number of participants or capacity is limited.
1.8 Photography and filming may take place at DHS events on behalf of the host couple. By attending an event, you consent to possibly being photographed. The management ensures that no identifiable images are published without written consent, which will be obtained via email.
2. Annual Fee and Payment
2.1 The annual membership fee is:
Ambassadeur: SEK 1,000 per person.
Chevalier: SEK 3,000 per person (or the current price).
2.2 The fee must be paid in full upon acceptance of membership and is non-refundable.
3. Responsibilities of the Member
3.1 Members are required to:
3.1.1 Familiarize themselves with and adhere to DHS's current safety and house rules.
3.1.2 Not use illegal drugs. DHS defines drugs as substances considered illegal under police regulations. DHS reserves the right to perform random drug tests during police inspections at events. Consent will be requested prior to testing. Testing will be conducted under supervision by an approved third party following established procedures provided to the Member.
3.1.3 Notify DHS of changes to contact or payment details, including name, address, email, phone number, bank account, and other relevant information. Notifications must be made without undue delay.
3.1.4 Register their name upon arrival at the event before entering. DHS may require the Member to show identification.
4. Event Participation (Tickets and Cancellation Policy)
4.1 Membership is required to attend DHS events.
4.2 All participants must follow the specific rules of the event, including dress codes and behavior, to ensure a respectful environment.
4.3 Membership grants access to events based on availability. Chevalier members have priority on waiting lists.
4.4 Ticket Terms:
All tickets for events organized by DHS are personal and cannot be transferred to another party.
Purchased tickets are non-refundable in case of cancellation or illness by the participant.
4.5 Event Cancellation:If an event is canceled by DHS, the ticket price will be fully refunded in accordance with Swedish law.
4.6 Membership is required to attend DHS events unless explicitly invited and approved by the host couple of DHS.
5. Guest Couples (Chevalier Members Only)
5.1 Chevalier members may invite one guest couple to an event, provided that the guest couple:
Is approved in advance by the host couple of DHS.
Purchases their own tickets to the event.
5.2 Chevalier members are responsible for informing their guests of the rules and ensuring they are followed.
6. Confidentiality and Discretion
6.1 DHS values the privacy of its members. All information about participants and events is treated as strictly confidential.
6.2 Photography and mobile phone use are only allowed in designated areas unless otherwise stated.
7. GDPR and Data Protection
7.1 Collection of Personal Data: We collect and process personal data to manage memberships, tickets, communication about events, and other related services. This may include names, email addresses, phone numbers, and other relevant information provided by members.
7.2 Purpose of Processing: Personal data is used to:
Manage membership applications and memberships.
Send invitations and information about our events.
Communicate changes, offers, or news.
Administer payments and membership benefits.
7.3 Legal Basis: Processing is based on your consent as a member and our legitimate interest in properly administering events and memberships.
7.4 Member Rights: Members have the right to:Request access to their personal data.
Request correction of inaccurate information.
Request deletion of personal data unless required by law.
Restrict processing of their data in certain cases.
Withdraw consent for data use at any time.
7.5 Data Storage and Security: We store personal data only as long as necessary for processing or legal obligations. Appropriate measures are taken to protect personal data from unauthorized access or loss.
7.6 Sharing Personal Data: Personal data will not be shared with third parties without consent, except when necessary for services related to membership, such as payment processing or event communication.

8.1 Members participate at their own risk. DHS is not liable for injuries sustained during events or activities.
8.2 Members are responsible for their belongings stored in lockers or coatrooms. Items left behind may be disposed of after two weeks. DHS is not liable for lost or stolen items.9. Legal Disputes
9.1 DHS is not liable for events canceled due to force majeure.
9.2 The membership agreement is governed by Swedish law.
9.3 Disputes should be resolved amicably. If unresolved, the matter may be taken to the General Complaints Board (Allmänna Reklamationsnämnden) or regular courts.10. Suspension and Termination
10.1 DHS reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership without refund if the Member breaches rules or acts inappropriately.
10.2 Members may terminate their membership at any time, but fees already paid are non-refundable.11. Changes to Terms and Conditions
11.1 DHS reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Members will be informed of changes via their registered email address.
